Blue Heron was amazing. The space worked perfectly for our family of four with two bedrooms and plenty of closet and storage space. Ocean views from every room. It was very clean. The kitchen had everything you would need to cook at home. However, the location was within walking distance to a little gem known as Peg Leg Petes. Go early and sign up for a table as they had a two hour wait anytime we walked over. You can drive a mile and be at 10 of the top restaurants in Pensacola Beach. It is beside a convenience store and 5 minutes from Walmart and Target. You do have to cross a fairly busy road to get to the beach that consists of traffic heading to the end of the island for historical sites. The beach is surprisingly private even at public access points. The pool is large with a fountain and multiple walk in points. The elevators are fast. It seems to be a very secure location with an entry gate. Be sure to check out the aviation museum in Pensacola and look for Blue Angel practice times. I would definitely stay here again.
